Aircraft and instructor hourly rates

Hourly lessons are billed as one combined line: service variation + instructor add-on + aircraft rate, multiplied by Hobbs time at checkout. Packaged discovery or TIF lessons that are not billed by the hour do not add the aircraft rate.

Aircraft type rate

Set a default hourly rate on the aircraft type (for example Basic Trainer). Every tail of that type inherits it.

Tail override

On an individual aircraft you can set a different hourly rate, or leave it blank to inherit the type rate. The editor shows the inherited amount when the override is empty.

Instructor add-on

On the instructor, set the hourly add-on for dual. Solo lessons typically leave this at zero. The create-booking estimate shows service + aircraft + instructor before the flight.

At checkout

Hobbs hours × the combined hourly rate become the invoice line. Package hours draw first; anything beyond the package is billed at that combined rate.
