Reach sending domain and DMARC
Reach sends marketing email from a dedicated marketing domain (for example flyingschoolmail.com), not from flyingschool.app. Booking confirmations and password resets stay on the product domain so a noisy campaign cannot hurt transactional delivery.
Default sending (no DNS)
After you enable the Reach add-on, campaigns send as {your-workspace}@flyingschoolmail.com. You do not need to add DNS records.
Open Settings → Reach sending domain to see the address in use.
Custom domain
If you want mail to come from your own domain (for example mail.yourbusiness.com.au):
- Enter a From name and address as
{local}@{your-domain}(for exampleinfo@mail.yourbusiness.com.au). - Add the three records we show: DKIM TXT, Return-Path CNAME, and a DMARC TXT at
_dmarc.{your-domain}. - Click Verify DNS so Postmark can confirm DKIM and Return-Path.
We do not require an SPF include. Alignment comes from DKIM plus the Return-Path CNAME to Postmark.
DMARC
Start with p=none so mailbox providers send you reports without affecting inboxing. After a few clean weeks, move to p=quarantine. rua= uses the contact email from Settings → Identity.
Reach sending (shared marketing domain and custom domain) stays blocked until business name, address, and contact email are complete.
Auto-pause
If complaint rates exceed about 0.3% or hard bounces spike, Reach pauses sending for the account. Fix list quality and contact support to resume.
